AURORA North America (pictured above) provides the AURORA Group with a strong foothold in the western hemisphere. Servicing customers primarily within the NAFTA region, this innovation center also holds the group's secondary test chamber within the large production and assembly hall. Located in Grand Rapids, Michigan nearest the Gerald R. Ford International airport, AURORA North America lays geographically ideal to service large OEMs located in the Mid-West and Great Plains regions of the United States.
Founded in 2009 as a distribution warehouse for North American and Canadian customers of AURORA Germany, the company quickly grew from a few hundred thousand dollars in sales to a multi-million dollar company in a matter of a few years. During its growth, AURORA North America has added sales, engineering, and testing departments as well as additional warehouse space to accommodate our growing customer base.
AURORA thinks global and acts local. Our global footprint is one of our many strengths to ensure that the various standards, regulations, wants, and needs, of every customer, country, and continent are not overlooked. While differences exist between European and American regulations, AURORA's engineers work together to fulfill requirements that set a higher standard for global solutions. In conjunction with AURORA Germany and HEAVAC, our North American offices continue to provide new insights and innovations to all realms of HVAC.
Today, AURORA North America has expanded their production capabilities in west Michigan to include sheet metal bending and welding to further strengthen their in-house capabilities and reduce costs of production.
